5:30 pm – Welcome Event & Reception @ Crooked Finger Brewery, 226 S. Jefferson St. Dublin, GA

7:30 am -- Written Tests 
9:00 am – Competition Starts

1:00 pm – Lunch (Southern Pines) Boom Competition during lunch open to anyone 18+ (separate prizes)

2:00 pm - Competition Resumes & Awards

Competitors may compete in ONE or TWO of the following events at the state level:

EQUIPMENT CATEGORY EVENTS
•    Rubber Tire Loader, Dozer, Excavator, Off Road Truck

COLLECTION TRUCK CATEGORY EVENTS
•    Automated Side Loader, Front End Loader (truck), Rear Loader, Roll-Off

MECHANIC EVENT

*If fewer than three people register for a category, participants will be asked to choose a different one in which to compete.

Two “Top Gun” competitors who qualify for the SWANA International Road-E-O will be sent to Florida by the SWANA-Georgia Chapter, but SWANA retains the right to set a limit on all covered expenses, including, but not limited to: travel costs, registration fees, hotel, etc. If a participant wins in more than one event -- and moves on to the International event -- they must choose to compete in only one event at the higher level. 

SWANA’s Road-E-O was established:
•To promote professionalism on the part of the drivers, mechanics, and equipment operators in the field of solid waste management.
•To create a spirit of competition and goodwill throughout the participating organizations.
•To provide additional services by the Chapter to a segment of the solid waste professionals who seldom have the opportunity to show off their skills.
