event in order to register for that same event in the International Road-E-O.

Competitor/Participant Registration Fee                           $395
*Includes opening reception, breakfast and lunch on event day, awards banquet,

Volunteer Registration Fee                                                 No Cost
The Road-E-O relies on volunteers to make the event happen.  This event is for
frontline individuals (drivers, mechanics and heavy equipment operators) to
demonstrate their operating skills. We need volunteers to make those individuals
feel respected and appreciated. We are looking for volunteers that can assist on
October 4th with course construction. On October 5th, we need volunteers for judging, 
registration, food organization, clean-up and other general activities. Volunteers
receive an opening reception ticket, breakfast and lunch on event day, awards
banquet ticket, t-shirt and hat. There is no cost to volunteer but volunteers must
complete an entire shift (approximately 8 hours). 
*Includes opening reception, breakfast and lunch on event day, awards banquet,
t-shirt and hat.

Sporting Clays Tournament                                                $175
Proceeds to Benefit the Ronald McDonald House
*Includes box lunch, ammo and cart rental (gun can be rented on-site).
Transportation to range not included.

National Park Trip with Brewery Stop                                $60
Travel to Georgia’s first National Park – Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park.

Join us as we travel to Macon and enjoy a ranger lead orientation, brief film, museum
tour, and hike at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park. After the park tour,
lunch and drinks will be at Fall Line Brewery. For more information about the brewery,

*Includes transportation to/from Macon, guided trip at park, and
lunch/tour at Fall Line Brewery (drinks on your own).         

Trip to Historical Savannah Georgia                                   $100
Travel to Savannah Georgia and enjoy a trolley tour to learn more about the history
of Savannah with Old Savannah Tours then enjoy time on your own for lunch
and shopping on River Street.
*Includes transportation to/from Savannah and a guided trolley tour.                                               

SWANA’s Road-E-O was established:

•To promote professionalism on the part of the drivers, mechanics, and equipment operators in the field of solid waste management.
•To create a spirit of competition and goodwill throughout the participating organizations.
•To provide additional services by the Chapter to a segment of the solid waste professionals who seldom have the opportunity to show off their skills.
